the tragic lie that romeo and juliet told...

in love we trust.we submerge our whole being into finding love because we trust in its' notoriety. we buy into the facade of romeo and Juliet and believe every word ever written about love.we listen with so much intent to every ballad and sing along to every note so it all sinks in.love isn't kind love is a raging jealous pimple faced insecure hormonal psychopath who preys on the lonely. even with that lurking in the back of our minds we don't cease the search for it, we are truly akin to punishment. but we should first begin the search for it within ourselves because ultimately that is where it resides. there is nothing worse and as futile as having a dependency on another for love when you cannot recognise it within yourself. love is a toxic drug and one of the worse kind. you have to be your own drug lord, mule and dealer in order to survive this kind/cruel world.we are all just junkies craving our next fix but we shouldn't risk falling for the Shakespearean script because once the play is over reality enters from stage left. you will be left with your deluded dementia and your imaginary high will come to crashing to the ground. empty voiceless tears will be your only companion. then again romeo and Juliet ended in tragedy ...and by we i was referring to myself. now for a cliche and naive ending; i still believe in love... even with its' wolf in sheep's clothing appearance !!
